This 1955+ Small Block Chevy V8 262-400 cam is a good cam for high winding 287-355 c.i. motors. Needs 5000-5500 RPM stall converter but works well with 4/5-speed transmissions, headers, 12.5:1+ compression ratio, and 5.13+ gearing. Very stable in high RPM and easy on parts. Rough idle
