This 1968-1997 Ford V8 429 - 460 cam is good for Super Gas or Super Comp racing applications with 460-500 c.i. motors. Works well with SVO style heads. Needs 4200-4500 RPM stall converter, headers, 11.5:1+ compression ratio, and 4.56+ gearing. Rough idle
