This 1955+ Small Block Chevy V8 262-400 cam is a good performance cam in hot street car or mild bracket race applications. Needs 3000-3500 RPM stall converter, headers, 10.5:1 compression ratio, and 4.10 gearing. This is the cam to replace the old 288/296R6 cam. Rough idle
