Compstar Chrysler Gen 3 Hemi 4.080 Stroke Crank and H Beam Connecting Rods

Every aspect of this crank has been meticulously engineered. It starts up front with a post that is dual keyed to securely locate supercharger drive pulleys, and ending with journals that are super finished. For ease of assembly, rod journals are standard SB Chevy diameter and width. Counterweights have been profiled for 6.125 inch connecting rods.

Compstar Hemi cranks are manufactured from 4340 steel and range in stroke from 3.800 – 4.080. Also for improved crank case ventilation and reduced weight, main journals are gun drilled.

Compstar H Beam connecting rods were designed with higher horsepower stroker motors in mind from the start, not as an afterthought. Bolt upgrades and stroker clearance are normally additional cost options with other rods, but are standard equipment with Compstar rods. ARP L19 7/16 bolts are used exclusively for superior tensile strength and clamping force at the critical mating joint of the rod and cap. The placement of these bolts is also key to additional rotational clearance in stroker applications at the bottom of the bores and at the pan rails. Strengthening gussets are also added to the bolt spot-face area of the cap where cross sectional thickness is at a minimum. These gussets not only increase strength, but aid in dimensional stability as well.
