All Howards camshafts use the highest grade cores available. They are Rockwell checked and Parkerized to ensure quality control standards.
This Small Block Chevy cam is designed for Strong mid-range torque & top end power, Needs 10.5 - 11.5:1+ compression, Good intake, Stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used, Requires Thrust Button, Requires upgraded distributor gear/fuel pump pushrod, Firing Order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
