All Howards camshafts use the highest grade cores available. They are Rockwell checked and Parkerized to ensure quality control standards.
This Small Block Chevy cam is designed for Competition/Bracket E.T., Mid to upper rpm horsepower, 12.5:1+ compression & good heads, Stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used, Requires Thrust Button, Requires upgraded distributor gear/fuel pump pushrod, Firing Order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
