All Howards camshafts use the highest grade cores available. They are Rockwell checked and Parkerized to ensure quality control standards.
This 1963-1995 Small Block Ford 221-302 cam is designed for Fair idle, Moderate street/bracket, Good low & mid-range torque, 10.5 - 11.5:1 compression & 3000+ stall converter, Stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used, Firing Order: 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
