All Howards camshafts use the highest grade cores available. They are Rockwell checked and Parkerized to ensure quality control standards.
This 1959-1980 BB Chrysler B/RB 383 - 440 cam is designed for Serious competition, Requires good heads, 12.0:1+ compression & good single plane intake, Requires 3-bolt timing set, Stock (O.E.) valves cannot be used, Lobes designed to take maximum advantage of .904" diameter lifter, Provisions for increased oiling recommended, Firing Order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
