All Howards camshafts use the highest grade cores available. They are Rockwell checked and Parkerized to ensure quality control standards.
This 1963-1995 Small Block Ford 221-302 cam is designed for Rough idle, Street/strip, Good mid-range performance, 3200+ stall converter & a good intake, Stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used, Lobes designed to take maximum advantage of .875" diameter lifter, Firing Order: 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
