All Howards camshafts use the highest grade cores available. They are Rockwell checked and Parkerized to ensure quality control standards.
This 1985-2002 Small Block Ford 5.0L / 302 H.O. cam is designed for Good idle, Good mid-range power, Good vacuum, 9.5 - 10.5:1 compression & 2500+ stall converter, Stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used, Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
