All Howards camshafts use the highest grade cores available. They are Rockwell checked and Parkerized to ensure quality control standards.
This Small Block Chevy cam is designed for Small Base Circle, Hot street performance in 383 - 406, 9.5:1+ compression & 2400 stall converter suggested, Stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used, Firing order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
