All Howards camshafts use the highest grade cores available. They are Rockwell checked and Parkerized to ensure quality control standards.
This Small Block Chevy cam is designed for Small Base Circle, Rough idle, upper mid-range & top end power. Needs 11.0:1+ CR, Firing Order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, Retro-Fit Stock (O.E.) valve springs cannot be used. Requires Thrust Button
