Description

Chevy Icon Forged Premium Pistons are forged from 4032 alloy. With an 11% silicon content 4032 alloy controls the thermal expansion so a tighter piston to wall clearance may be used over a 2618 alloy. The additional silicon also decreases the wear on the skirts and pin bores. This material makes these Icon Pistons ideal for street and mild boosted applications

Crown and valve reliefs are cnc machined

Skirts machined by UEM's unique in house built cnc machines

Accumulator groove to help eliminate flutter and maximize ring seal

Skirt and pin boss struts designed to withstand heavy loads from high cylinder pressures

Wrist pins and spiral lock included

1/16 x 1/16 x 3/16 rings not included

Compression Ratio 96.5cc 12.0:1, 105cc 11.1:1, 119cc 9.8:1

Advertised piston weight 568 grams, 158 gram wrist pin

OE Deck Height 9.800"

Note: Standard bore size is 4.250

Note: Centered Pin. 427/454 block with a 4.250" stroke. No mini grooves on top land. Fits both open and closed chamber heads
