This BB SB Chevy Hays SFI Approved Flexplate is engineered for high performance competition Chevy engines are constructed of a thicker than stock steel plate. This enables them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-RPM engines.

Internal Balance for 396, 402, and 427 Engines

168 Tooth Ring Gear

Zinc Dichromate Plated

Heavy Duty design is 0.030" thicker than stock flexplate

Note: This is for 396, 402, and 427 big block engines. 454 and larger big blocks were externally balanced from the factory.
